As with every Culshaw kitchen there are always bespoke features. In the Cornwell kitchen some of the more noticeable bespoke features are such things as the sawn oak found on the breakfast bar.
The larder cabinet doors are lined with a mesh panel, a simple nod to the traditional pantry cabinets first used in the 1700s. Individually handmade glass knobs designed and commissioned by Culshaw add a unique aspect to the kitchen and a fused glass splash back also specially designed and commissioned by Culshaw adds a stunning focal point to this kitchen.
This fusion between the period and contemporary elements creates a new elegant and timeless design a signature style of Culshaw Kitchen Makers.
Cornwell Bespoke Features
The overall look and style of a kitchen is very important and here at Culshaw the same amount of care and attention to detail is given to the interiors of all our cabinets. Details like clever storage, individually tailored inserts and larder shelving all work behind the scenes.
In the Cornwell kitchen one of the main bespoke and hidden details we had to design and consider were the two pillars either side of the AGA. The intended look of the two drawer packs either side of the Aga were to be seamless drawers. Behind these long drawer fronts however the drawers themselves are made up of one larger drawer and a smaller drawer attached.
With the pillars in the way the carcass was made in such a shape that resembles a ‘P’ on its side. A standard 600mm depth to the deeper side of the carcass allowed for the use of a 550mm drawer and then on the much shallower section designed to fit around the obstacle, a smaller drawer box was made. Both attached to the long drawer front and from the outside gave the desired appearance and from the inside a well-designed usable space.

Warranty
All our cabinet work comes with a 3 year warranty. Any appliances are covered by the standard manufacturer’s one year warranty.
