The Toulouse - Culshaw signiture style kitchen

Introduction

Inspired by a visit to the Cotes du Rhone Valley

The Toulouse kitchen has become a real signature kitchen for Culshaw Kitchen Makers. It was inspired by a visit to the Cotes Du Rhone valley. In the chateau at a local vineyard the rooms were furnished with fine painted furniture that had a light, clean and intricate feel. This has been translated into this very well received and now much favoured kitchen design.

This kitchen utilises compact curved corner cabinets hand crafted to fit seamlessly into the tight space. With all our kitchens being entirely bespoke we can produce curved cabinets with any radius specifically tailored to each individual space.

The same is true of the solid oak dresser back situated on the worktop. This feature dresser with its solid oak reeded back panel, shelf and dovetailed spice drawers can also be produced to suit any kitchen. With space a premium in this kitchen the island houses a dishwasher, bin cabinet and 800mm two bowl Belfast sink. A breakfast bar to the rear of the island allows space for seating.

The overall look and style of a kitchen is very important and here at Culshaw the same amount of care and attention to detail is given to the interiors of all our cabinets. Details like clever storage, individually tailored inserts and larder shelving all work behind the scenes.

In this particular kitchen we had pull front drawers with an internal drawer giving the client more usable storage. Bespoke solid oak cutlery and utensil inserts sit in the top drawers of the cabinets either side of the Range. A tailor made recycle pull out cabinet is housed in the island unit to the right of the sink.
