At the heart of the ‘Prescott’ kitchen is a stunning feature island unit. All our island units are designed to specifically suit each individual kitchen. Every island is unique. This particular island houses a two zone induction hob and an under-mount sink. One long side consisted of two drawers and a cupboard with the opposite being a breakfast bar. Either end of the island was designed to have open slatted storage areas. Around the island there is a feature larder unit, stunning Aga and surround with a modern Belfast sink situated under the window.

Where the AGA is located two ultra slim cupboards were made. Helping to create a uniform look and stunning feature, the units are joined by the addition of a bespoke solid oak mantle shelf. The solid oak mantle and brackets echo the oak interiors, larder cupboard and dovetail drawers throughout the ‘Prescott’ Kitchen.

A modern Belfast sink with a feature solid oak rail sits beautifully centralized underneath the main window. To the left of the sink is the dishwasher and to the right a bespoke pull out four compartment bin. Having these two cabinets either side of the sink helps keep the same symmetry that is the design throughout the kitchen. The look is completed with contrasting worktops. This contrast in worktops creates a contemporary feel to a traditional style.

Prescott Bespoke Features

The overall look and style of a kitchen is very important and here at Culshaw the same amount of care and attention to detail is given to the interiors of all our cabinets. Details like clever storage, individually tailored inserts and larder shelving all work behind the scenes.

The feature larder cabinet has solid oak larder shelves mounted on the back of the doors. An internal shelving unit houses the microwave oven. The base is made up of large solid oak drawers, dovetailed and on Blum Movento soft close runners with two pull out solid oak chopping boards. The larder is completed with a cold shelf matching the surrounding worktops. Close the two doors and the larder becomes a clean contemporary cabinet with all this detail hidden away.
